I just love how Ubuntisti have to make everything so complicated

"! audacious2-beta"

I'm not sure if I'll switch away from MPD, though.

It is. I really love the fact that I can use my iPhone as a remote. And since it's actually just a daemon, I can leave my music playing while logging out, switching between users, when I'm just in the console, with no GUI... and you can set all kinds of hotkeys, for everything. And you don't always have to have a window open to play music.

Oh, and it's wicked fast, and doesn't use a lot of ressources, even with a big collection
